Frequently Asked Questions

Our cabinets use solid wood doors/frames and furniture-grade plywood boxes. That means they hold screws better, resist sagging, and handle moisture changes better than particle board. Particle board is made from compressed wood chips and glue, so it can swell or break down faster if it gets wet and it doesnt hold fasteners as well. If you want longer-lasting cabinets, solid wood + plywood is the better construction.

Start with your space: white and light colors work best in smaller kitchens or if you want a clean, modern look. Raised panel and shaker doors are the most universal and match most homes. If you already have floors or countertops picked, match your cabinet tone to those first. If youre unsure, white raised panel (like this line) is the safest choice because it works with most backsplash, hardware, and appliance finishes.

We offer cabinet options like rollout trays, deep base cabinets, corner cabinets, and tall pantry cabinets to help you use the full space. When planning, use more drawers in areas you access daily, add organizers for spices/trash, and use wall cabinets all the way up if your ceiling allows it. Tell us your layout and we can recommend the best mix for your kitchen.

Lead time depends on stock and your location. In most cases, in-stock cabinets can be assembled and ready to go in a few business days, and delivery/scheduling adds a little more time. Larger or custom-size orders may take longer. If you need a specific date, contact us and we can confirm current stock and delivery options before you order.

Because wood is a natural material, some variation is normal and not a defect. This can include:

  • Minor color or grain variation between doors and frames
  • Small mineral streaks or knots that do not affect strength
  • Slight stain absorption differences on doors vs. frames
  • Normal joint lines where door rails and stiles meet
  • Slight expansion/contraction with humidity

These are typical for real-wood cabinetry and are within industry standards.
